yesterday, i was on the train back home from bishan, and the train stopped for around 1 min in the middle of the track. it's quite scary, coz another train can come from behind and ram into mine. suddenly, i thot that i needed superman.
haha. effect of watching superman returns. i would say that it is a good show and the effects are really good. i was totally absorbed into the movie. but i did hope that he could be more heroic, do more stuff to save the people.
i don know if this is reading too much into the movie but like wad christelle said, there's some biblical references in the movie. for example, "the father becomes the son, the son becomes the father" and "while the people are influenced by the evil, they need a light to guide them."
anyway, i also watched il mare and the lakehouse. the concept was very good but somehow both were a little disppointing. they were called lakehouse and il mare(sea in italian), but it doesnt seem to make a difference where the house is. i think water is a very powerful location, it's very calm, very scenic, you can witness sunrise/sunset, you can fish whenever you like, you can own a yacht. alot of things can be seen or done at the house by the water but the movie just touch and go on the location. Both also talked about architecture but again, i think it was touch and go. alot of things were said but not shown. for example, alex's father talked about importance of light in architecture but it is not shown how this is executed in the architecture of the lakehouse.
i think i like il mare better because it had a more logical ending and i loved their music. but i have to say that the lakehouse did a better job in character development and that their love was more convincing. the gal in il mare seemed to like her ex more than the guy.

hey, another happy day today. went kbox with my first ever kbox gang. i know my last entry was on kbox. but like i've said, i LOVE kbox. today is an oldie day, kinda inspired by serene to sing the older songs or maybe because the rest havent updated their mandarin pop. wahaha.
then we went to watch lakehouse. hmm..not bad...shall not elaborate, i wont be a movie spoiler.
while waiting for the movie to start, i met lala on the way. I'M sincerely sorry guys. but i had prior arrangements with my friends already. and i'm sorry that i din reply the message, coz i wanted to join you guys after the kbox, but it seemed like we were gonna watch lakehouse...so next time k? i will definitely join you.
then i went for tuition followed by meeting...reached there at like 10 plus. guess wad, i met linus. i was quite surprise that we could talk for quite long. i don remember saying anything more than a simple hi back in school. and he was like "hey, we must meet up and catch up k?" hmm....i'm quite shocked...
anyway, i have an urgent request.
my movie list has pirates and lady in the water. is there anyone who havent watched pirates or wanna watch again? coz i cant find anyone who hasnt watched it yet. sms me if you havent watched it too k?

haha. happy day.
went for ktv with lala today. first time singing with my braces on, not too bad, but i think it's harder to sing fast songs.
anyway, happy thing occurred the moment i entered the room, tingyi said that " sometimes love just ain't enough" is on the list. (oh, i was late), so i was super happy that they haven sung it yet. and in fact, it's such an unpopular song that no one really requested in ktv and i don really like requesting it as well coz it does bring back memories. but for today, none of those memories came by and i can now associate this song with happiness now, for i have sung it happily today.
since i was late, alot of pple has sung and they were quite tired by the time i reached. abit sad, din manage to hear alot of them. but well, lala has alot of potential singers. let me propose something- form a band, and perform on stage one! bring the house down.
well, towards the end we did have pple who are trying to be high. layming kept pushing the high songs infront and the guys keep jumping and screaming into the mike. i love their performances!
anyway, new talent, kenneth, is found. he sang rang wo ai ni and sounded totally like zai zai. and i say talent because i am a closet F4 fan. let me declare one more time. i think F4 is cute and i think appreciate their songs and shows. i know the rest of lala all think they sucks...but well....don say in my face k? (and don purposely say so to score points k?)
anyway, i heard a new song today and i am deeply touched by it.
thought that it was a damn good song because it reminded me that after you have let someone go, you have to let yourself go too. but i guess letting go is not easy. sometimes i did secretly wish that you din/ haven't let go.

it seems like ever since i can bite and chew, i have been feasting non-stop with food from heaven.
i went to the prata house(located along upper thomson road) for the first time today. ordered banana prata (somewhat, i am reminded of erwin) and tried mushroom cheese...they were like....indescrible....
actually, no matter what you have ordered, you must realise this point -- the selling point of their prata is their crispyness and freshness. the rest of the ingredients will melt with the heat and blend in with the prata. so the ingredients are really up to you...so for me, i am a cheese and fruits person..i'll like those pratas more..some are egg pple, so the egg pratas will win their tastebuds. in a nutshell, all pratas are equally good, it's just a matter of preference.
met 2 tables of rafflesians there...seems like we love prata. hahha.
i am into this habit of typing some white text each day. and i am reminded of you again. i miss you...when can i play with you again?

let's try to sound happy over now.
today i went for pepper lunch with minglei! and it was like wooo~!!!! (do it in the hard gay way) it was my first time there and i fell in love with the food. i ordered pepper beef. when it was served on my table, i could see the raw beef sizzling on my hot plate. i love food with impressing presentation. after the beef is cooked, you can add their specialty sauce. i wouldnt recommend it though coz its taste is too strong and will overwhelm the original freshness of the beef( remember? the beef was cooked right under your nose).
now we come to the rice. it's actually butter rice. the more you mix it, the more evenly the butter is spread amongst the grains. and when heat comes into contact with butter, the aroma just rushed to your nostrils like nobody's business. the whole restaurant is filled with such aroma. there is also corn and pepper as ingredients. minglei liked the corn part...one can imagine butter with corn again....somehow, it just doesnt seem too greasy, everything is in the right proportion.
let's talk about wad's making me frustrated. don tell me to do things by a certain deadline when you don even follow up. i don want to remind you to check my work.

view with chinese simplified k? nice song again by fan wei qi.
i loved the line, "朋友比情人更懂得倾听", and "朋友比情人还死心塌地". i believe in these two lines, so true. Thanks for being a friend. take care.
thanks for the game, but i feel sad that you are not the first person whom i play this game with. nvm, come back and we will have fun together, i'll be waiting.

hey, i still remember to blog about cs foc..so here it goes.
"do i look like i freaking care?"
"what attitude"
i guess this should have been the attitude to certain things. i don want to elaborate anymore. those that have been to the camp should know better.
i still hope that everyone continue to trust each other. i always believed that we should always maintain a basic trust in each other. you know wad? it's tiring to punk pple. main point: no one would punk you for no good reason. our reason is " in the name of fun" and "wad is cs without drama".
anyway, i did learn that never start punking pple coz it is neverending. pple start to punk each other back.
anyway, those few days had been so dramatic that even i cant take it as well. then again, "do i look like i freaking care?"
so that's all for my deepest reflections. now for my deepest thanksgiving. thank you lala for all the fun, i am so glad to be here instead of anywhere else. you guys are the nicest pple around...i can smile whereever you guys are, even if it's fright night. i hope that you guys stay bonded and happy.

nice song...totally addicted.

1. Q:Why is a football stadium such a cool place to sit?
A: It's always full of FANS!!!
2. Two TV antennas meet on a roof, fall in love get married.
The ceremony wasn't much but the reception was brilliant.
3. Q: What kind of ring did the rabbit give his girlfiend?
A: 14 Carrot Gold.
4. So a wife tells her husband that she's pulling a big dinner for her long lost aunt who's flying in from France and tells him to go down to the beach to gather some snails for tonight. Grumbling about the dismal weather he grabs his anorak and a bucket, then tramps down the little lane towards the beach where he spends his afternoon anke-deep in seaweed and pebbles rooting for snails.
Now suddenly a young woman walking her dog along the shore spots the man amongst the sea weeds, suffering from the drizzle, and taking pity on him asks him back to her place for a hot cup of something. Now the man, seeing that the women is gorgeous and all, is all too eager to comply so leaves the bucket and follows the woman back to her little cottage not too far away.. Well after a coffee and a few glasses of wine later the afternoon drags on to evening which then leads to a wild night of passion.
Late next morning the man blunders out of the cottage with this nagging feeling that he's forgotten something- then suddenly, like an icicle down his back- his wife! the aunt! the dinner! ruined! His foggy head takes him back down along the beach with his bucket still full of snails. Grabbing the bucket he dashes back up the beach, up the little lane and back to the house- but not before dropping the bucket full of snails on the doorstep in his haste, spilling snails all over the step.
His wife, in dressing-gown, curlers and rolling-pin in hand, meets him at the front door with a look of pure murderous loathing. The man looks down at the snails, up at his wife, back down to the snails again and in pure desperation he yells, "Come on lads! We're almost there! Just a few more feet!"
5. See, there was this guy. He had a kid, see. A real prodigy. When he was four, they put him in this special entrance examination to get into this really good kindergarten. For a kindergarten exam, it was really, really hard. Well, he passed and he got in.
His father was so happy. So the father asks him, "What do you want as a reward, my boy?"
"A blue ping-pong ball!" was the reply. So a blue ping-pong ball the kid got.
So the kid grows up, see, and turns six. A real prodigy. So, they put him in this special entrance examination to get into this really good elementary school. It was really, really hard. Well, he passed and he got in.
His father was very, very, happy. So the father asks him, "What do you want as a reward, my boy?"
"A blue ping-pong ball!" was the reply. So a blue ping-pong ball the kid got.
So, this kid grows up, and gets put in this really fancy private school when he was ten. A real prodigy. So, okay, they put him in this special entrance examination to get into this really fancy private school. It was really, really hard. Well, he passed and he got in.
His father was so delighted. So the father asks him, "What do you want as a reward, my boy?"
"A blue ping-pong ball!" was the reply. So a blue ping-pong ball the kid got.
So, yeah. The kid graduates at the age of sixteen, and then gets enrolled into an Ivy-League university. A real prodigy. But to get it, they put him in this special entrance examination. Man, it was so hard. Well, he passed and he got in.
His father was delirious with joy. So the father asks him, "What do you want as a reward, my boy?"
"A blue ping-pong ball!" was the reply. So a blue ping-pong ball the kid got.
And then, tragedy struck. The kid got involved in this horrible, horrible accident. They said that the boy wouldn't live through the night, so they advised that the father that he just wait and hope.
And just before dawn, the boy's eyes fluttered open, and he saw his beloved father at last.
"My son!"
"Father..." said the boy, weakly.
"Tell me, my son," said the father, desperately, "they say you do not have long to live. Tell me, my son, before God takes you away from me... why did you want the blue ping-pong balls?"
"Because," said the boy, weak and dying, "because..."
"Yes, my son! Tell me, please!"
And then the boy died.
the last one was really lousy..don tell anyone this joke k?

tooth entry - 3--- it's getting tense among us!
braces day!! under the scrutiny of the dentist for an hour...terrible restless. now we teeth have red brackets on us and wire linking us up. we think we look pretty with the pink dress on, but our owner think otherwise. she keeps covering us up with the cheeena fan during meeting. hello! we think we are quite jian de guang.
anyway, the itchy tongue been complaining to us for the past few days. he hasnt tasted good food since the extraction of the PM1 and PM2. and it will be worse for the next 2 years. our owner has figured out that she cant eat chewy food(inclusive of chocolate), coz everything will be stuck. she cant eat cold food as well, coz the metal wire will contract which makes it damn tight and thus painful. she also cant eat hot food, coz the wire will expand and contract again after the meal. so it's painful after every decent meal. so bascially she has nothing much left to eat. and for the moment, we teeth cant chew as well, even bubble tea's pearl is a challenge.
poor tongue...maybe you can try to like PLAIN porridge.
the walls of the mouth is complaining as well, you know there's friction between the brackets and the walls, so it's likely that ulcers are gonna develop soon. it's time to stock up listerine.

tooth journal-entry 2
another two of our family members are gone. we finally found the correct name of them. they are called pre-molar, not small molar. so PM3 AND PM4 are gone too...haiz. we recalled those days when we were so gum. anyway, the dentist forgot to give them to me..so once separated, gone forever. we will miss you, pre molars!!
anyway, we had another dentist taking PM3 and PM4 out today. he is quite fast, 2 shakes and they are out. but i think he injected alot of anaethesia this time round as compared to the other time. and when he inject, he also did it very fast, and it's quite painful..the other dentist was nicer in this aspect.
anyway, this dentist never fails to stress our owner out. He said that one of the front teeth is bigger than the other and asked her ,"how?". like hello!!! you are the dentist. she entrusted us to you so you do a good job without asking her so much questions.
okay. that's all...our gum is still feeling okay since the effect of anaethesia hasnt worn off yet.

kbox, 3 times this week.
the first time i went with jiawei they all. haha, first time seeing jiawei after she came back, luckily i can still recognise her. chrsitelle taught me a way to sing duet with zai zai! haha. i arm chio like mad. it was also great to have adrienne working in kbox, coz having a good friend serving us just feels good. then we also went to jiawei's house for bridge, photo browsing and pianp playing. hee. jiawei is a good piano teacher.
second kbox was with the csbs pple. highlight was when they suddenly play the happy birthday song, then rl said that it was damn off. haha. he still din realise that the outing was meant for his birthday celebration. but it was a fun celebration.
third kbox with my jars. haha, i am still not sick of kbox, surprisingly. had a good time trying to sing and dance and pretending to hold concert. yeah..then we went settlers to play. we only played 2 games though-- cranium and hamster roll. really damn fun. highly recommended.
sometimes what you thought to be may not have been what it truly is. it may be better to find things out instead of drowning yourself in sorrow on your own.
